Sevastopol is a city located on the Black Sea coast of the Crimean peninsula. It is the second largest port and a popular seaside resort and tourist destination in Ukraine. It is accessible from Simferopol International Airport by car 1.5 hours as well as from the local airport. Being an important naval base for years, Sevastopol has been always focused on military and marine study. That's why all local universities have a very strong tradition of engineering research. Many people from Crimea and the neighbouring regions go to Sevastopol to study.
